Description: The St Francis Centre for Community Arts and Culture was sold out with an audience wanting to escape the winter cold and dream of a Caribbean get away. The eager patrons heard Big Sugar give an acoustical concert of reggae sounds, entertaining with cuts from their recent album and other tunes of the islands. Presented by Music By the Bay Live, the audience got a rare chance to see Gordie Johnson and the entire Big Sugar family in an intimate and entirely acoustic setting. This was one stop on their 2015 Canadian tour, and the band has partnered with World Vision to help the children of Jarso village in Ethiopia. Over the course of the tour, they hope to sponsor every single child in Jarso and change the lives of everyone in their community.
